Curtis Lazure | Design and Creative Lead + Senior UX Designer at Nexus Communications
Part of my role at Nexus Communications is collaborating in the research, design and assembly of pitch decks outlining capabilities, achievements and experience – allowing our users to follow the document with ease and walk away feeling well informed.
Not only do I take pride in the preparation of our decks, I also relish the opportunities to be client facing – interacting in real time to answer questions and promote ideas.
The slides below, are a snapshot of how we put our best foot forward in promoting our work and answering client questions outlining our strategy for success.
Slides outlining our teams and departments were used to illustrate both scale and numbers reached.
We were asked to show the various tech solutions we use for various tasks and solutions.
An international case study was used to show our versatility in global markets.
Infographic slides are used so the user can quickly digest information.
Use of bold brand colours and icons allow for bite sized blocks of information to be easily consumed.
Crisp, table formatted text is light in content so not to bore, or intimidate the reader/user.
Bold use of colours and graphs make conveying messages and stats more palpable, while still being aesthetically pleasing.
Information assembled in steps in a linear fashion allow the user an easy to follow timeline on what they can expect along the journey.
The use of bold separator slides allows our clients a break in absorbing information as well as an indicator of what is coming next.
A quick “at a glance” slide introduces our approach to the client’s problem and how we will aim for success.
Bulleted lists of information combined with the use of brand appropriate iconography allow easy to follow reading.
Slides indicating key research findings were used to help illustrate our strategy and direction.
Process maps are used to educate and inform our clients on what to expect from top to tail during the journey.
Informative slides showcase the process from start to finish of a particular project – in this case a job posting infographic.
Easy to read, on brand slides cover areas specific to our client’s requests demonstrating our understanding of the ask.
Informative, illustrative slides of content that onboard our client’s before hand, creating awareness of the project timelines and expectations.
Creating professional sales documents is an essential tool that help sell ideas, communicate expectations and illustrate capabilities.
While the above structure and information is under one brand, the bones and foundation is there to rebrand for client specific presentations and specific asks.
Different formats can be considered so that multiple team members can collaborate and edit.
